 Dear Parents,

HOORAY!  Our kitchen facility is completed and ready for use.  Hot lunches will be served beginning Monday, January 10th.  Menus for the month were sent home with students last Friday.  We will continue to offer “Jack’s Pizza” on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month because it was so popular with the children (and parents!)

 Our new gymnasium is being used for physical education classes but cannot yet be used by outside groups until we receive a permanent Certificate of Occupancy.  There are some construction items that need to be attended to and until they are completed, we cannot open the facility to the general public.  We will notify you when we have the permanent certificate.

 Our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be scheduled soon and information about that event will be posted on our regular school site.  Flyers will be sent home with the students indicating the date, time, and room location.  It is likely to take place at the end of January or early February.  Stay tuned…..

 Lastly, I would like to thank the Franklin School parents for their unwavering support and patience throughout this building project.  You have been absolutely wonderful waiting for various phases of construction to be completed.  We can now all agree that it was worth the wait!
