| Description: The Academic Bowl practices Mondays and Thursdays and competes Monday evenings against other area schools in a “Jeopardy” type of game. Questions range from math, science, history, literature, grammar, and current events to sports, movies, and TV.

| Art Club |

| Description: The objective of the EMS Art Club is to provide an extra curricular activity for those students who enjoy and/or excel in the visual arts area. Activities include both individual and group projects that are not covered in the Art curriculum due to time or budget restraints. Art club meets on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 in the Art Room, Room #2. This year the Art Club will have three sessions: Fall, Winter, and Spring. You may sign up for two of the three sessions. There will be 25 students in each session. The Spring session meeting dates are:

| Chess Club |

| Description: The primary goal of the Chess Club is to teach students how to play chess. The club focuses on understanding and improving strategy through game play. Throughout the course of the year, students play impromptu tournaments as well as compete with other schools. Chess Club is open to all levels of players including those who have never played before.
