Eisenhower Middle School, in partnership with home and community, celebrates the diversity of our student population. In an effort to promote social equity, we aspire to motivate all students to attain personal and academic success. A nurturing and organized setting is maintained to provide a sense of belonging. This will enable students to explore a wide variety of educational experiences.

Pursuit of individual potential is the hallmark of this school. As life-long learners, the faculty and staff are dedicated to empowering students in their education in order to meet these goals. Students will develop a respect for the unique qualities of each individual. Students will employ a code of honesty, integrity, and self-worth. Students will promote the values of democracy and participate as intelligent citizens within the world community.

The school community at Eisenhower Middle School believes that our goals are:

  • To encourage students to pursue individual excellence and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for continued growth.
  • To develop a partnership that shares responsibility among school, home, and the community in order to achieve full development of a child’s potential.
  • To provide a safe and nurturing climate that fosters a feeling of acceptance for each individual, respect for diversity, and a feeling of pride in each student.
  • To utilize the teaming philosophy to create learning opportunities that are unique, interdisciplinary, and collaborative.
  • To form consistent standards and guidelines for appropriate behavior, positive values, and social skills that develop individual responsibility in the spirit of cooperation.
  • To develop life-long learners who value themselves and others, contribute to the community, and become productive members in a changing, complex world.
  • To function within their middle school education as a smooth transition stage between their elementary and high school years, allowing students to develop a high self-respect, self-worth, self-management, respect for others, and a heightened sense of responsibility.
