Kurt Schweitzer is this year’s Eisenhower Middle School’s Teacher of the Year. Having taught for eight years, seven here at Eisenhower Middle School, Mr. Schweitzer has been a respected teacher by the administration, faculty, and staff. Most importantly, however, he is a committed, hard-working, dedicated teacher that always puts the students first.

Mr. Schweitzer has a Bachelor in Humanities and Social Sciences with a Major in History. In addition, he has a Master’s degree in Administration with a Supervision Certificate from New Jersey City University.

Currently, Mr. Schweitzer is the Lead Teacher for the Eisenhower Middle School Social Studies department. He has written the Eighth Grade U.S. History curriculum, as well as, helped revise the Seventh Grade World History curriculum. He also created the Middle Matters after-school program, which enables students to improve their academic grades and their standardized test scores.
