Book Fair Work Schedule

Students:    Once a "Volunteer Identification List" has been compiled and distributed to your teachers, you will be able to obtain your working schedule from three locations.  Ask your homeroom teacher, or Mr. Mittag, or log on to this site.  Look for your name in the chart below to find out which days and periods you have been assigned to work.  Notice that no more than four students will be assigned during the same period on any given day, except during set-up and break-down.  You are expected to be responsible for showing up at the correct location, book fair or regular class, on time!  Late passes will not be given.  You must maintain at least a "B" grade in your class before your teacher will consider releasing you to work at the book fair.  The general rule that most of the teachers follow is - if you are currently earning a "B" in their class, they will allow you to miss one day during the book fair but you must make up the work you miss.  Students with an "A" might be permitted to miss two non-consecutive days, provided you make up the missed work.  Students will not be assigned to work during their music class, cycle class, or gym class, except in rare emergency situations when no other student is available and when arrangements have been made between the Media Specialist and the given teacher prior to the period in question.
