Director of Food & Nutrition Services: Marilyn McSpiritt MSRD, CDE
Registered Dietitian. Master of Science Degree in Nutrition. Certified Diabetes Educator. Completed a ServSafe Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation. In May 06, I attended a conference for Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association. I have the privilege of feeding your children each school day. I am enjoying the challenges this job brings. My goal for the school lunch program is to incorporate Nutrition Education into the program. I believe that nutrition is instrumental to good health. It is vital that we teach our children the importance of optimal nutrition. The choices they make today will impact their health tomorrow. As parents, we are in the unique position to impact their choices. Let's empower ourselves to give our children the tools they need to make healthful choices. The more we learn, the better we can educate our families. I am committed to continue to educate people about the role of nutrition for optimal health.
