BOOKS COME TO LIFE AT KENNEDY SCHOOL

Recently, the third graders of Kennedy School brought a variety of books to life as they integrated reading, writing, the arts and public speaking into a book report project. For this project, each student read a chapter book, wrote a summary of the story and created a 3-D action scene poster.  The students then gave an oral presentation using their posters as visual aides.   One of the many benefits to this project was that interest in the books presented was sparked in the children.
