On Saturday, May 15, 2004, Chiropractic offices worldwide will participate in the tenth annual “Kids Day America/International”, a Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness Day. Dr. Nancy Gallagher will be sponsoring the event locally at the Roxbury High School from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM.
Dr. Nancy Gallagher will provide essential information on crime prevention, child safety and environmental awareness. The office will donate special Child ID cards to every child who attends and the Roxbury Police Department will be on had to provide FREE fingerprinting of all children.
In addition there will be a special appearance by “Smokey” the Bear and others. The Fire Department is bringing their fire truck and will teach fire safety tips to the children.
Sr. Gallagher will provide FREE spinal exams and scoliosis screening and distribute vital information on disease prevention and specific health issues that affect children. “We will also provide free balloons and snacks. There will be special giveaways and prize drawings every half hour! Donations will also be gladly accepted for DARE, which will help to enable them to continue their efforts for Drug Awareness,” says Dr. Nancy Gallagher. “My staff and I invite all of your friends and neighbors to join us at this unique, fun-filled community awareness event!”
