At its January 21, 2004
meeting, the Roxbury High School National Art Honor Society enjoyed a
presentation conducted by Mr. Gary Upp (artist and resident custodian at RHS).
Mr. Upp presented his sculptures; miniature buildings often made and sold
for the toy train enthusiast. He discussed the process for creating them and
held a workshop for the student members. Mr. Upp is a multi-talented artist with
a true passion for his work. The NAHS invites local artists to share their craft
throughout the school year.
