ARMY RANGER VISITS LINCOLN/ROOSEVELT SCHOOL

Team S of Lincoln/Roosevelt School recently had the chance to meet Captain Michael Triglia – a Captain in the U.S. Army Rangers, who returned from duty in Iraq three weeks ago.  For the students and teachers, getting the chance to meet Captain Triglia was a special occasion.  Since September, the students have been "pen pals" with this soldier from Iraq.  This “pen pal” relationship was inspired by Mrs. Fran Miller, teacher at Lincoln/Roosevelt School. Captain Triglia has also been stationed in Afghanistan and Korea.  He is released from the Army on May 12, 2005 and is currently stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia until May.
