CAREER DAY AT ROXBURY HIGH SCHOOL

 

With the assistance of the Roxbury Rotary Club, the Guidance Department was able to present to the student body their first Career Day on December 2, 2004.

Ms. Diane Dunn, representing the Rotary Club, arranged for representatives from her organization to give Roxbury High School students their time and expertise in their professions.

Representatives from the Roxbury community from accounting, banking , health car, life insurance, pharmacy, real estate, photography, chiropractic care, auto sales and Senator Bucco and school board member Robert Badini representing state and local government gave of their time that day.

“We hope to expand our career offering for our student body next year to make a successful experience more profound,” stated Mr. Robert Walkotten – Director of Guidance at Roxbury High School.
