On October 4, 2004, Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen visited the students of Mr. Kevin Lipton’s Eighth Grade American History class. Congressman Frelinghuysen spoke to the students about his legislative responsibilities, his youth and early interest in politics and various current events, including the recent presidential debate. He highlighted key facts regarding the branches of government, a topic that Mr. Lipton’s students will be focusing on in class this year. A question and answer session followed with thoughtful questions being posed by the students.
