The Lincoln/Roosevelt School Forensic Club, in conjunction with Roxbury Social Services, has implemented a school wide Dare to Care program. The goal of this program is to help students understand the concept of selfless giving.
The Dare to Care program ran from December 1, 2004 through December 15, 2004. Through the efforts of the Forensic Club, Lincoln/Roosevelt School students made a difference. They collected 1,648 clothing items, 1,211 food items, 367 toy items and $408.30, which all will be donated to local families who struggle everyday to provide necessities of food, clothing, and shelter for their children.
