2004, Succasunna, NJ… On Sunday, October 17, 2004 at Mack-Cali Business Campus
in Parsippany volunteers from Roxbury High School’s “R” Club and Field
Hockey Team walked 5 miles to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
The funds from this event support research, early detection programs and
treatment, as well as support programs for cancer patients.
This year the Roxbury High School students teamed up with Infineum. Infineum matched all of the donations and as a result helped the students to raise over $6,000.00 to help support cancer patients.
It was through the efforts of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Loeffler, parents of Katelyn Loeffler, that the Roxbury students were able to team up with Infineum to make such a positive impact at the event.
