The Roxbury Public Schools calendar, which was distributed in September, had four emergency days built into it. Since the district used one of these emergency days since February, there will be a regular day of school for students and staff on Friday, May 27, 2005; however, Tuesday, May 31, 2005 will be a day off for students and staff. This day off will then make the Memorial Day weekend: Saturday, May 28, 2005 to Tuesday, May 31, 2005. School will resume on Wednesday, June 1, 2005.
