Students of Nixon School, along with Mrs. Veronica Beers, Guidance Counselor at Nixon School, designated the week of January 9 through January 15, 2005 as “Kindness Week.”
Mrs. Beers initiated this week with a letter home to families asking them to work with their children to see how many acts of kindness could be noticed in one week’s time. At the conclusion of the week, Nixon School achieved 1,317 acts of kindness.
