Ms. Butler’s Fourth Grade students at Nixon School recently designed and constructed a geometric city entitled, Geopolis. The construction of the city was a hands on activity, which had the students applying their learning about angles, line relationships and quadrilaterals. Using the city, the students will be identifying circumference, acute angles, obtuse angels and other geometric concepts.
