Over the past years, the Roxbury School District has used numerous forms of communication to keep the Roxbury community informed of district news.  One form of communication that has been used on a regular basis is the district newsletter entitled, Our Schools. 

This year due to budgetary constraints the Community Relations Department will only be able to publish and distribute one edition of Our Schools, which is scheduled to be distributed in late March / beginning of April.

While the publication and distribution of the Our Schools newsletter will not be as frequent this year, the Roxbury School District is still striving to disseminate district news regarding events, accomplishments and curriculum implementation to the public.  One form of communication that can be readily used to access information is www.roxbury.org. 

On the district’s homepage, www.roxbury.org, current information is provided regarding all types of district news.  Articles located on this home page are featured for approximately two weeks and then are archived in the Hats Off to Students, Hats Off to Staff and District News folders located at the bottom of the home page.

Each of the articles featured on www.roxbury.org are also released to the local papers for possible publication.  Images of students will not be included on the district web site; however, if the child has submitted an affirmative consent form for media usage, photographs pertaining to highlighted events may be submitted to the local newspapers.
