DARE TO CARE

Forensics students at the Lincoln/Roosevelt School participated in the DARE TO CARE program, which shows thanks and appreciation for those in need during the holiday season.

Over 175 students participated in the DARE TO CARE program that was performed twice on November 23, 2005 in preparation for the observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday under the supervision of group advisor Mr. Bill Buro. This program encourages students to support those in need during the holiday season by donating, toys, clothing, and food for local families in Roxbury who need assistance.

Lincoln-Roosevelt Principal, Mr. Jack Curtis, was quite pleased with the student performance.  Mr. Curtis said, “In the past, Lincoln-Roosevelt has been a very giving school during this campaign.  I am sure this year’s efforts match the contributions of the past to help those in need in the Roxbury Community”.
