HELP IS ON THE WAY!

Students at Jefferson Elementary School joined in a school-wide project to help families impacted by Hurricane Katrina. 

The students of Jefferson Elementary School brought food and other needed items to school on September 12, 2005.  The collected donations were loaded into four cars and delivered to the home of a Roxbury resident, Brian Grawher, who is driving the donations to Louisiana with his brother.  

First Grade Teacher, Mrs. Dana Taggart, said, “I was very pleased by Jefferson families citizenship and caring for other communities. The students were very proud of their contributions to this devastated area of our country.”
