Board of Education member, Mr. John Moschella, recently returned from New Zealand and offered students a closer look at the country they have learned so much about.
Mrs. Bourdon’s fifth grade students have been writing to their pen pals in Mrs. Bell’s New Zealand classroom at the Kaurilands School since September 2005!
Mr. Moschella, former Principal at the Franklin School, felt right at home as he shared his experiences with the students through photographs and stories of his adventure, and he beamed with delight as students eagerly participated in his presentation.
Mr. Moschella, clearly not the only one fascinated with New Zealand, is eagerly planning his next trip!
