What is the 15-minute Child Break?
Research conducted on New Jersey Middle School students indicates that children
who communicate with
their parents (about any topic) are 67% less likely to be involved with
substance abuse than children who have
little or no communication.
The presentation was designed to empower parents with specific information and the confidence that even in today’s society, they are still the strongest influences in their children’s lives.
The 15-minute child break is part of the Partnership for a Drug Free New Jersey’s mission to reduce the incidence of drug and alcohol abuse by the state’s youth.
