On Friday, July 2, 2004, Mrs. Eva Gale, Humanities Supervisor, for Grades 6-12 in the Roxbury School District, received a Literacy Grant in the amount of $1,500.00 from Wal-Mart, in Ledgewood, New Jersey (Store 2569) to be used at Roxbury High School.
Wal- Mart’s store manager, Mr. Kevin McLaughlin and the Wal-Mart Community Coordinator, Mrs. Sharon Wallman presented Mrs. Gale with the generous grant. Mrs. Gale will put the grant towards the purchase of four computers, which will be utilized in Roxbury High School English classrooms.
