Mrs. Eloise Walko, First Grade Teacher at Nixon School, is the winner of the 2004 Skylands Mentor Teacher of the Year Award. Receipt of this award acknowledges Mrs. Walko’s high quality mentoring that she has provided for Kurt Start, a student teacher who is pursuing his certification through Centenary College.
