MAKING STRIDES
On October 17, 2004, as the Roxbury High School “R”
Club and Field Hockey team walked to fight breast cancer, so too did two Nixon
School staff members. Ms. Davida
Nitka and Mrs. Carol Cherry made strides to help support the American Cancer
Society’s lifesaving efforts. Together,
Ms. Nitka and Mrs. Cherry raised $685.00 to donate to the Making Strides Against
Breast Cancer cause.
