Roxbury High School Art Teacher, Ms. Renee Zengel, presented a lecture on Environmental Sculptures at the Conference for Art Educators of New Jersey. She introduced Conceptual Art through the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Ms. Zengel showed photos and discussed the lesson that she presented to her Art I Foundations class this past spring.
Lead Teacher of Visual Arts at Roxbury High School, Mrs. Joanne Hughes, commented on Ms. Zengel’s presentation, “As always, her knowledge, passion and dedication to the arts were apparent during the session. She made me very proud to have her as a colleague and reinforced my knowledge that she is a valuable asset to our art department and to the Roxbury School District.”
