ROXBURY STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AS COUNTY LEVEL WINNERS IN PTA REFLECTIONS PROGRAM

The Roxbury School District is proud to announce that eighteen submissions by sixteen of our students have been chosen as county-level winners in this year's National PTA Reflections Program.

The National PTA Reflections Program is a cultural arts enhancement program, which provides students with the opportunity to express and share their creative talents, based on a theme.  This school year's theme was "I Am Really Happy When..."

Each participating school PTA invites students to participate and submit entries in any of the following categories:  literature, visual arts, photography and musical composition.  A limited number of entries may be chosen by each local PTA within art categories and age groupings for submission to the county-level for judging.  Winners at the county-level are then forwarded on for judging at the state-level in the same art and age categories; then state winners contend for national honors.
