The National Achievement Scholarship Program has now determined, which Semifinalists named in September 2003 have met all requirements to qualify as Finalists in the competition for Achievement Scholarship awards to be offered to outstanding Black American students in 2004.
John M. Cole, Roxbury High School Senior, has been named a Finalist in this competition. Currently, the selection of more than 775 Achievement Scholarship recipients from the Finalist group is in progress. In mid-February, the National Achievement Board will begin mailing scholarship offers to winners.
