Thomas LaBell, a second grade student at Nixon School in Mrs. Eloise Walko’s class, has been diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. In order to raise awareness, Thomas purchased each one of the students in his class with a blue bracelet that says CURE DIABETES. The money used to purchase the bracelets will directly benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
