Seven Roxbury High School
students were selected by audition as members of the North Jersey Region I
Chorus. They are Karen Giardina,
Jackie Haggerty, Emily Janser, Samantha Kleinrock, Mickey Sanchez, Rebecca
Schubiger and Kyle Tillyer.
The Region Chorus, which
performed at Clifton High School on February 12, 2005, was made up of the finest
220 high school student choir members from the eight northern counties of the
State representing about 100 high schools. Over 900 high school singers
auditioned for the Region ensemble. Roxbury High School’s Director of Choral
Activities is Ms. Lorraine Lynch.
