The Roxbury High School Marching Band finished 2nd in the US Scholastic Band Association East Coast Championships held in Allentown, PA on November 4, 2006. The band scored a 97.35 (new school record) and won Best Music Overall. The band was edged out by North Penn High School by only 0.1.
During two days of competition, the Roxbury High School Marching Band was the highest scoring New Jersey band out of 165 bands participating in the State of New Jersey. Overall, the band finished 2nd on the East Coast.
