From the Assistant Principal

Hello everybody.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.  First I'd like to say what a pleasure it is to be a part of the Lincoln Roosevelt family.  I look forward to working with the students, parents, staff, and administration to make the 2011-12 school year the best year it can possibly be for each and every one of our students.

By this time many of you have heard about the new Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) law which took effect in September.  I have always said that the most important part of a school administrator's job is to ensure that all students feel safe and comfortable coming to school.  Therefore, the lines of communication must always be open.  Feel free to contact me via phone or email if you think there is anything that can be done to help your child deal with any problems that would interfere with them having their education be their first priority here at Lincoln Roosevelt.  Similarly, please know that if we call you to say that your son or daughter has been involved in an incident that has caused one of his or her classmates to feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please listen with an open mind and know that we're only doing for someone else what you would want to have done for your child.

Thanks and let's make 2011-2012 the best year ever.

Eric S. Renfors, Assistant Principal

Lincoln Roosevelt School

Students don't care how much we know unless the know how much we care.
