From the Principal
FALL 2011
Dear Lincoln Roosevelt Parents,
I want to officially welcome you to Lincoln Roosevelt School for the 2011-12 school year. It is our sincere hope that every student who attends Lincoln Roosevelt will have an experience that is educationally rewarding and socially uplifting.
The popular saying these days is that it takes a village to raise a child. I don’t know about a village, but I am a firm believer that it takes at least the parents and the school working closely together in order to ensure that each child has a good chance of meeting success and fulfilling our desired goal of having a positive and rewarding school experience this year.
Your child will be coming home with an agenda book on the first day of school. Please take the time to review the important information that is contained on pages 1-48 of the student handbook in the front of the agenda book. There are also a few pages of parent information (pages 14-19) that have been included to help you better understand some of our rules and procedures.
We stand ready to help you in any way possible. Please feel free to call us at any time to inquire about anything that is a concern to you.
We look forward to an exciting and fulfilling school year at Lincoln Roosevelt School.
Sincerely,
Jack Curtis
