Guidance - noun
- the act or function of guiding; leadership; direction
- advice or counseling, esp. that provided for students choosing a course of study or for a vocation
- something that guides
The definition of guidance from the dictionary. That sure does sound like a guidance counselor. They are there to help our children find direction when they need it. Mrs. Pellet and Mrs. LaCapra, both guidance counselors at Nixon School, together will be publishing a monthly newsletter which can be downloaded here.
