Patriot's Pen Winners

Ms. Caye McLaughlin of VFW Post 2833/Ladies Auxiliary announced the winners of the Patriot’s Pen Essay contest from Eisenhower Middle School. 

The Patriot's Pen program is open to students in grades 6-8, who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories. The 2011-2012 theme: "Are You Proud of Your Country?"

First Place was Abigail A. Turrisi.  Second place was Brielle Drechsler.  Third place was Joelle Marston.  Abigail's essay also won first place for the region and will be the Post’s entry to the District, where it will be judged against other schools in Morris County.  Congratulations to Abigail, Brielle, and Joelle!
