twice-monthly meetings before/after school; competes in regional state,
and national competitions

 Advisor: Ms. Haines

Future Business Leaders of America is a nonprofit education association of
students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. It is a
premier student business association whose mission is to "bring business and
education together in a positive working relationship through innovative
leadership and career development programs." FBLA is the largest business
education student organization in the world!

Membership in the Roxbury FBLA chapter allows students to compete in a
number of business career areas, demonstrate leadership skills, acquire
knowledge and career information about the outlook of future business
careers, and participate in community service projects and activities. Through
local competition, members use knowledge acquired from business courses,
to successfully complete a written test or oral presentation. In the past,
FBLA students at Roxbury High School have successfully competed at
regional competitions to qualify for competition at the state level, attending
one, two or three-day conferences throughout the school year.

In order to qualify for membership in the Roxbury High School FBLA Chapter,
a student must be currently enrolled in any one of the many popular high
school business courses. For a list of course offerings, please
