FAQ's:

When will we buy the tickets?  Prom bids will be sold February 22, 2011 through February 25, 2011 after school in the Main Lobby.  If you have given a deposit, or sold candy we will have credited your account and you will just pay the balance.  Otherwise, the cost per person is $70.00.

Do I need to have a date or know who my date will be?  NO.  You may come with a group of friends, or just join them on the bus.  You may enter the name “guest” if you want to buy two bids but aren’t sure who you will be taking.

Can I bring a guest from another school?  Yes.  There will be a form of reference for non-Roxbury students that must be completed.  Administrators will check references for the student before allowing them to join our prom.

Do I have to take the bus?  No, but it is strongly encouraged.  The buses are being provided by the Class of 2012 for you because the venue is over 30 miles away and the prom ends at 11:00pm which is past the provisional license driving allowance.  The luxury buses are from Aristocrat Limousine Service.  This is a safe, affordable means to travel with your friends.  You do need to know when you purchase your ticket if you will be taking the bus or not.

What if I am an athlete?  Traditionally, athletes on a team have made arrangements to come together to the venue after their practice or game. Dates of the athletes could travel to the venue by bus as a group, and meet the athletes at the venue.  Athletes have been known to get showered and dressed in the locker room.  The prom is a nighttime event and can be attended after a sporting event.
