Waldo #11 dreams of being famous at one point in his life. Therefore, he has decided to travel to places of famous people. He decided to start with the most famous rock star of all. After years of studying history, Waldo #12 likes to visit historical sites. He wants to see the area where heads are carved from stone. Sculptor Gutzon Borglum’s completed the project in 1942. Borglum's attention to detail makes the faces of the Presidents Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson appear almost lifelike in the morning and afternoon sun of the Black Hills.
