Welcome! The media center is a place to read, study, and complete school work. Classes take priority for computer use. Computer games are not permitted. The media specialists and paraprofessionals are available to assist you. Come to the media center before school, during study hall, during the second half of lunch, with classes, and after school. Borrow Materials: Books.........Two weeks Encyclopedia.......Overnight AV materials.......Use in media center at the request of a teacher. Popular magazines are on reserve behind the circulation desk. Computer Usage: 32 Computers are located on the main floor. 7 Computers are located in the media conference room. 23 Computers on the balcony are to accommodate a second class doing research All computers have the Online Public Access Catalog of materials (OPAC) ,online databases, word processing and PowerPoint. |
