Media Center Policies
Welcome!
- The media center is a place to read, study, and complete school work.
- Classes take priority for computer use.
- Computer games are not permitted.
- The media specialist is available to assist you.
- The Media Center can be used before homeroom, during study hall, during the second half of lunch, with classes, and after school.
Borrow Materials:
- Books.........Two weeks
- Audio Books.......Two weeks
- Nooks .......Two weeks
- Encyclopedia.......Overnight
- AV materials.......Use in media center at the request of a teacher.
- Magazines....Two weeks
Computer Usage:
- 32 Computers are located on the main floor.
- 7 Computers are located in the media conference room.
- 23 Computers on the balcony are to accommodate a second class doing research
- All computers have the Online Public Access Catalog of materials (OPAC) ,online databases, word processing and PowerPoint.
