Welcome to our new "Headline" page.  Please visit this page often for updates, news, and highlights about the Special Services Department .
 
This year the Special Services Department is working together with parents and staff to plan workshops and share information.  Our first workshop was held in February.  It was hosted by PEC and the special services department. A representative from SPAN presented on the topic of "Basic Rights in Special Education".  Our next workshop will address IEP's.  It's goal is to make the parents and professionals a successful team.  This will be presented several times and all will be encouraged to attend one of the presentations. This workshop will be presented by a parent and a staff member working as a team.
