    Kiss Me, Kate

This is the winner of the first-ever Tony Award® for Best Musical, alive with onstage romance, backstage passion, comedy high and low, a hilarious dash of Shakespeare's Shrew, and the songwriting genius of Cole Porter at his stylish, sexy, sophisticated best. Once again, Roundabout catapults you to a musical comedy heaven, with a brand-new Kiss Me, Kate. In Cole Porter's sparkling 1948 musical, the warring lovers of The Taming of Shrew are causing trouble both onstage and off. While putting on a musical version of Shakespeare's play, exes Fred Graham (Will Chase) and Lilli Vanessi (Kelli O'Hara) can't decide if they're enraged, enamored or enormously confused whenever they cross paths out of character. There is no wheelchair access for this show. Runtime: TBD with 1 intermission. 2:00 p.m. matinee.

With just one rub of a magic lamp, Aladdin’s journey sweeps you into an exotic world full of daring adventure, classic comedy, and timeless romance. It’s an unforgettable experience that includes all the cherished songs from the Academy Award®-winning score and more written especially for Broadway. 

    This stage production is directed and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw, and composed by Tony Award winner Alan Menken. It features lyrics penned by the legendary Howard Ashman and Tony Award® winner Tim Rice, with book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Aladdin also showcases an incomparable design team with exquisite sets, costumes, and lighting by multiple Tony Award winners Bob Crowley, Gregg Barnes, and Natasha Katz. Aladdin is not intended for children under 4. The show is recommended for ages 8+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Limited wheelchair access is available for this show. Runtime: 2 hrs. 30 minutes with 1 intermission. 2:00 p.m. matinee. 

    The bus will depart at promptly 10:00 a.m. so attendees have time to enjoy lunch at a wide variety of area restaurants (on your own) or window shop before the show! Tickets will be disseminated the day of the trip. A list of local restaurants will also be provided for dining before the show.

    DEPARTURE FROM: Roxbury High School Parking Lot at 1 Bryant Drive, Succasunna, NJ at 10:00 a.m.

    RETURN TO: Roxbury High School Parking Lot at 1 Bryant Drive, Succasunna, NJ at approximately 6:00 p.m.

    SHOWTIMES: Both shows begin at 2:00 p.m.

    COST: (includes show ticket, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity)

    • Kiss Me, Kate - $106 per person
    • Aladdin - $128 per person -- WAITLIST HAS BEGUN AS OF 12/12/18

    The Roxbury Community School is self-sufficient and a course/program/trip must pay for itself. If there are not enough registrants, the course/program will be cancelled. The Coordinator reserves the right to remove from class those individuals who have not paid tuition.  
    There are no refunds for winter, spring, summer, or fall courses/camps AFTER the program starts. All cancellations must be received in writing to comschool@roxbury.org at least seven days prior to the start of the class for a refund. After that date, there will be no refunds.
