Mr. Paul Kobliska

Paul Kobliska serves as Roxbury's Supervisor of Mathematics and Science, Grades 7–12. Over more than two decades in education, Paul has built a track record of strengthening curriculum, instruction, and assessment at every level of the system.

As a district curriculum supervisor, he led the alignment of science curriculum to the Next Generation Science Standards, redesigned middle school mathematics to improve Algebra readiness, and founded a high school STEM Academy. As a building principal, he led math and science textbook adoptions, developed benchmark assessments and vertically aligned rubrics, and used student achievement data to drive revisions to the math progression and intervention supports — work that included serving as District Testing Coordinator for state and alternate assessments.

Paul has designed and facilitated professional learning in instructional coaching, differentiation, co-teaching, the Gradual Release of Responsibility, and 5E Science models, and has presented his work at Learning Forward, Eduscape, and TECHSPO conferences. He graduated from the University of Scranton with Bachelors of Science.  He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and is completing doctoral studies in Educational Leadership from Saint Elizabeth’s University.
