Roxbury High School Choirs Win Big in Williamsburg, VA Competition

ROXBURY, NJ (APRIL 22, 2026) – Seven choirs from Roxbury High School traveled to Williamsburg, VA last weekend to compete in the Showcase Music Festival. The competing choirs were Roxbury Glee Club, Melodies, Vocal Jazz, Revelation, Chorale, Classic Sounds Honors, and the Roxbury Festival Choir under the direction of Mr. Patrick Hachey, Mrs. Krista Sweer, and Mrs. Ciera Reingold.

The choirs took home six first place trophies and one second place, achieved six superior ratings, and won the Best Overall Choir Award for Classic Sounds Honors. Students Logan Batsch, Jasper Fernandes, Malia Gichana, Juventino Torres, and Lillia Vega were honored with Outstanding Vocalist Awards, as well as Jericko Guerrero, honored with the Outstanding Student Accompaniment Award.
