Three Students Selected for Region Elementary Band Festival

THREE STUDENTS SELECTED FOR REGION ELEMENTARY BAND FESTIVAL

6TH GR MUSIC  

ROXBURY, NJ (May 13, 2016) – Last weekend, three students from Lincoln/Roosevelt Elementary School participated in the North Jersey Region 1 Honors Elementary Band Festival at South Orange Middle School. They were selected from over 500 students. 

The three students selected were Christian Maroulis on clarinet, Brandon Bang on tuba, and Michael Bang on trombone. 

Instrumental Music Teacher, Mrs. Joann Bartschat had this to say regarding her students, “I am so proud of them for the outstanding job they did. They rehearsed Saturday morning and performed the concert that afternoon. What a wonderful accomplishment.”
