Roxbury’s “My Favorite Book” Contest Winners

Three 6th Grade students are this year's “My Favorite Book” Contest Winners from Lincoln/Roosevelt  

ROXBURY, NJ (December 10, 2020) – Three sixth-grade students from Lincoln/Roosevelt Elementary School won the “My Favorite Book” essay contest sponsored by the Roxbury Woman’s Club in conjunction with the Roxbury Public Library. 

Lynn Gaillard, Roxbury Library’s supervising librarian for youth services announced this year’s winners via email, “It is my pleasure to announce this year's winners of the My Favorite Book Contest sponsored by the Roxbury Woman's Club.” 

The winners are:

  • First place winner: Gianna Benfatti
  • Second place winner: Carina Campos
  • Third place winner: Erianna De Los Santos 

Winners each received a Barnes and Noble gift card ranging from $20-30. 

Unfortunately, there was no awards presentation this year. Winners were asked to pick up their prizes at the Roxbury Public Library. 

This essay contest is sponsored each year by the Roxbury’s Woman’s Club of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Club of GFWC and is open to all sixth-grade students who live or go to school in Roxbury. 

Congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated in this contest.
