Jefferson Kindergarteners Thank Our Veterans

Veteran’s Day Cards from Jefferson School

ROXBURY, NJ (November 6, 2019) – Small acts of kindness continue to flourish at Jefferson Elementary School in Roxbury Township where Kindergarteners recently made cards for our country’s Veterans in honor of the upcoming Veteran’s Day. These highly decorated and colorful cards will be passed out at a Veteran’s Hospital in Delaware.

Students not only made cards but learned a little too. Kindergarten Teacher Meghan Storm shared, “Students talked about the branches of the military and expressed how thankful they were about what the military does for our country.”

Jefferson School and the Roxbury School District all want to thank the brave men and women who have served this country in the armed forces as we approach Veteran’s Day on November 11th. Thank you for your service!
