Mrs. Klein's Preschool Class Celebrates Martin Luther King

MLK in PreK with Drew Poquette and Julianna Torr

ROXBURY, NJ (January 17, 2020) – In honor of remembering Martin Luther King Jr., Patti Klein’s preschool class at Jefferson Elementary School in Roxbury Township discussed friendship and how to treat each other with kindness and respect.

Two students from her class, Drew Poquette and Julianna Torr, both shared how they believe it’s really important to be kind to your friends and teachers too.

All of the children created Martin Luther King Day crafts, shared a friendship snack, and listened to stories about friendship and caring for one another as a way of remembering.
