Soles4Souls display box for new and gently used shoes ROXBURY, NJ (March 5, 2021) – Jefferson School’s Early Act Club will be collecting new and gently worn shoes now until March 26th for Soles4Souls. Individuals wanting to donate can do so by dropping off the shoes in the designated box during school hours outside of Jefferson Elementary School at 35 Cornhollow Road in Succasunna, NJ.

Soles4Souls is a non-profit organization that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief to many developing nations through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world. Since Soles4Souls began in 2006, they’ve distributed over 30 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and all 50 U.S. states. One pair of shoes can provide five meals for a family. Twenty pairs of shoes can provide a year’s worth of shelter for a family. Thirty pairs of shoes can provide a year’s worth of schooling for a child.

Jefferson’s Early Act Club is a school-wide service club for elementary students and is sponsored by the Roxbury Rotary Club.
