ROXBURY, NJ (June 6, 2019) – Jefferson Elementary School Nurse Kate Zenna and Media Specialist Katey McAuliffe organized a book collection to benefit the Bridge of Books Foundation during the 2018/2019 school year.

Zenna shared, “This foundation was featured in the NJEA publication showing how it collects books for underserved New Jersey students. As of May 2019, over 1,500 books were collected from the generosity of student families, classroom teachers, and Karen Fasino, the Lincoln/Roosevelt Media Specialist who donated her library’s older books.”
